Overall Responsibility 

Lifeguard 

• Record pool tests throughout the day using pool plant equipment on site. 

• Handle money and bookings and ensure minimal complications arise. 

• Ensuring that all areas and facilities are clean and tidy 

• Carry out facility expectations and reporting any faults to the duty management 

Leisure Assistant  

• Do spot checks within the building and report faulty equipment to the supplier 

• Completing qualifications and gaining fresh experience 

• Swimming Teacher and volunteer at Swimming Club 

• To have prepared lesson’s and schemes of work before execution  

• To adapt to sudden changes when they occur        

• To adapt to knowledge of assessment or learning needs ongoing throughout the lesson 

Pool Operator  

• Assess the aquatic environment before letting the public use the facility 

• Managing safety zones 

• Control the balance of chemicals from entering the swimming pool  

Fitness Instructor 

• Determine first the fitness goals if a customer chooses to fill out a questionnaire  

• Book them in for a consultation and determine if they’d like a PT 

• Inform them of the companies brand literature 

• Encourage clients to change their attitudes and learn to lead a heathier lifestyle
