I kept accurate records of the numbers of catalogues distributed each day and collected then in a timely manner. Once collected, I would place the orders online and do home delivery.  

• Checking and inspecting goods received and ensuring they are of accurate quantity, type, and acceptable quality

As a Checkout Service Sales Assistant, it’s my role to serve customers at the checkout.  While working on a Holiday Working Visa programme.  I made friends with many staff and customers who visited the store.

Thought-out my Tesco career I worked on many different departments as a General Assistant. I was responsible with looking after departments such as Wines and Spirits, in Store grocery, produce, home provisions, and fruit and vegetables.  

• Taking action to improve health and safety performance and awareness 

• Driving the implication of care and safety evaluation program to ensure continuous improvements are made 

• Assisting Management to identify potential or hazards on site  

• Carry out facility expectations and reporting any faults or out of date products to the management 

• Manage the support functions of the store including POS with a strong on appliance and administrate outcomes 

• Preparing and replenishing stock to ensure departments have lots of quality stock available to customers 

ACADEMIC BACKGROUND  

I left school at school without any qualifications and used learner support while working full time at Tesco.
